BINARY placement
« on: March 29, 2009, 06:50:13 PM »
I have been so confused about my binary placement, everyone was going in my left leg and I didn't understand why.  I wrote to support@myinlife.com and finally I understand, so I thought I would share it here with you guys.  Here is what they said:

"In terms of the "power leg weaker" default, until you have sales volume, there is no "weaker" leg and the software will place IDs who enroll through your website on the left."

So now I just need to place a bunch on the right so it evens up a bit...

Hope this helps anyone else who was confused!

So would changing the default to "alternating legs" work?

thanks janellody for clearing that up. What is considered "sales volume" exactly? I have a bit more people in my left leg, so you're saying setting it to power leg right would be the best option?

So I responded to the customer service rep and asked what exactly "sales volume" is and she responded with this"

"Please note: If an Id enrolls from the join now option on your welcome screen, it will default to your personal settings located under distributor entry (edit my own record) portion of your backoffice.

If you chose to enroll your id from your back office ( distributor entry>>>create a new record) that person will be placed according to the ids personal settings of which you place them under in your downline( that person they are placed under is called the sponser, and you would be the enroller.)"

So.... didn't really answer my question...

lol...gotta love customer service...

thanks for doing that, I think I follow what she is saying.

If they sign up using the link it will use the setting you choose, if you sign them up you can place them where you wish...I think.

I think I have it set correctly since my left leg is getting massive I need to slot some people over on the right...so I'm not running in circles  :P

I was under the impression that if I logged in to my inlife website and clicked on "Distributor Entry" to sign up a new person then I would be able to physically place them in my downline wherever I wanted. But this was not the case today when I signed someone up. Any ideas?

When they sign themselves up you have to tell them what to choose...If you do it yourself you can change it manual.

Okay I figured out how I can enroll someone from my site and put them under a specific person in my downline.

What you need to do is log in to your site, go to Downline report, click on Binary View, Click on the person's name that you want to be a sponsor, and it will open a window with a link that says "Click to add a person below this sponsor".  Yay!

Everyone that is in my downline so far is on my left side. This is from others signing people up under me and the one ID I signed up so far. They all went to my left side. I have my "ID's Own Binary Default Placement" set to "power leg, alternating". Do I need to change this to get people on the right side?

Yes Chris, I was in the same situation with everyone falling on my left even when I had it set to weaker. Set it to right and you won't have that problem anymore. Everyone you personally enroll will go on your right leg. You won't need to worry about your left leg since that will always be filling up with new people.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification.
